Princess Mary's bridesmaid and best friend Amber Petty weighs in on 'disgusting and predatory' Below Deck Down Under drama as she praises 'real hero' Aesha Scott
Amber Petty, Princess Mary's bridesmaid and best friend for over 20 years, has weighed in on Aesha Scott's Below Deck Down Under drama.
Earlier this week, viewers were left stunned after chief steward Scott, 31, intervened and saved Margot Sisson from Bosun Luke Jones' advances.
Elsewhere in the episode, Laura Bileskalnehad made drunken advances towards a male crew member, who made it clear he wasn't interested.
Ms Petty was quick to throw her support behind Aesha's brave actions and showered her with praise on Instagram.
'That episode with Luke and Laura's predatory behaviour was so upsetting but thank God for people like you and [Captain] Jason,' she began.

'Incredible and very healing for the millions of women and men who have been abused like that and left questioning themselves.
'Or not questioning themselves but living with the trauma of what went on. Thank you Aesha, you're a real hero,' Ms Petty continued.
Her kind words come after Aesha Scott broke her silence on the 'horrifying' incident which saw two crew members sacked for misconduct.
Scott took to social media after Bosun Luke Jones and stew Laura Bileskalnehad were kicked off set after they misbehaved under the influence of alcohol, and Jones drunkenly came onto a female crew member.
Scott issued a statement following the most recent episode and said the drunken behaviour she witnessed went against the values of the show.
'I wanted to take the opportunity to remind everyone of the main message that was shown on the episode, which is that women, and actually everyone, have the right to go out and have fun and feel safe and that is just the f***ing end of it,' she began.

On the show's latest episode, bosun Luke Jones was terminated after climbing into the bed of Margot Sisson (pictured above), who was naked and asleep, 'without consent'
Aesha later took to Instagram to post a photo of her having a celebratory drink with Margot
'There's no questions or if's or but's, that is the end of it. So please keep an eye on your friends and each other.'
'We don't actually know what would have happened, but being in her bed naked — and she's got no idea - it actually makes my skin crawl. You have no right to put someone unconscious into that position,' she added.
The episode in question sees Scott intervene after a drunken Jones became overly flirty with female stew Margot Sisson, much to her displeasure.
'I don't want any drunkenness to be taken advantage of. I'd just like to see you get into bed safely. I'll get you water,' a worried Scott told Sisson.
