AJ is a former senior CIA operations officer and twice-selected Chief of Station who served across the full spectrum of clandestine operations, including warzones, denied areas, and austere overseas postings. A U.S. Naval Academy graduate with a B.S. in Physics and a former Marine combat arms officer, AJ spent his career leading high-risk missions in defense of U.S. national security.

In 2021, while serving in Southeast Asia, AJ experienced what he describes as a directed energy attack associated with reported Anomalous Health Incidents (AHIs). Iran: A dramatic wave of Israeli-American preemptive strikes hit regime and Revolutionary Guards targets in Iran, with growing assessments that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was among the targets in Tehran. Israeli sources say the opening blow was coordinated with the United States and designed to surprise senior regime leadership as key officials convened. Reports also indicate senior commanders may have been eliminated, while Iran issues denials and uncertainty remains over Khamenei’s condition.
U.S.–Israel: President Donald Trump confirmed the operation and said the goal is to destroy Iran’s missile threat and ensure Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon. Israeli officials describe months of intelligence collection, a detailed target bank, and full operational coordination—alongside the mobilization of tens of thousands of reservists and reinforcement of forces across all sectors.
Gulf and region: Iran announced “True Promise 4,” claiming strikes on bases and sites tied to U.S. partners across Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and the Emirates, with explosions reported in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and additional reports from Iraq involving pro-Iranian militia sites. Gulf states are preparing for escalation as Iran warns there are “no red lines,” and reports say Tehran issued unusual guidance to residents to flee.
North: As strikes continue in western Iran to reduce missile launches toward Israel, Israel is also preparing along the Lebanon border amid concerns the northern arena could ignite as the week develops.
