U.S. and Israel expand war with Iran with joint air, sea, and land operations as Tehran hits back

President Trump said Monday the strikes in Iran are aimed at destroying Iran's missile capabilities and its navy, making sure it cannot obtain a nuclear weapon and preventing it from arming and funding terrorism across the globe.

He offered no new details about the length or scope of the strikes that began over the weekend and that have so far resulted in the deaths of four American soldiers. 

"We're already substantially ahead of our time projections. But whatever the time is, it's OK," he said. "Whatever it takes, we will always and we have from right, from the beginning, we projected four to five weeks, but we have capability to go far longer than that."

The President says the war should last four weeks. But as Iranian bombs rain down on Gulf states who did not want a war, we don’t know if it can be contained.

The police officers started to ask everyone to get out of the car but one of the men tried to explain that he was in a wheelchair and couldn't walk. Lets just say the cops apparently haven't seen anything like this before, and got awkwardly confused about what the man was saying. The hilarious, unexpected, and funny police moment was caught on camera and ended up going viral across social media. Eventually the police officers figured out what was happening and let the people go on their way, but the whole situation was one awkwardly hilarious police encounter that you won't want to miss. Donald Trump has announced that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed. 

The US President stated on his Truth Social platform: "This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World.”

"He was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do… This is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country.”

Satellite images show the compound of Iran’s Supreme Leader in ruins, following the launch of attacks by the US and Israel across the country.  Israel said it had killed seven other senior Iranian leaders in the strikes. 

In response, Iran launched attacks throughout the Middle East.  Strikes have been reported in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, and Kuwait - all places with US military bases, or that are allied to the US.
