Sergio David González aborda la polémica en torno a María Julissa, una influencer mexicana con más de tres millones de seguidores, que es señalada en redes sociales como posible colaboradora en la captura y muerte de alias "El Mencho", líder del Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación. 

La controversia surgió luego de que circularan rumores y mensajes de amenaza dirigidos a ella, acusándola de haber entregado información a las autoridades mexicanas. María Julissa, quien actualmente reside en Cali, Colombia, negó categóricamente cualquier vínculo con el operativo o con "El Mencho", calificando la información como falsa y advirtiendo sobre el daño que puede causar la desinformación en redes sociales.

A pesar de su desmentido, existen fotografías que muestran una supuesta cercanía entre ella y el capo, aunque algunos usuarios sugieren que podrían ser imágenes generadas por inteligencia artificial, sin confirmación oficial. Por otro lado, el secretario de Defensa de México confirmó que la ubicación y captura de "El Mencho" fueron posibles gracias a la inteligencia militar, que incluyó información proporcionada por un hombre de confianza de una de sus parejas sentimentales.

También se menciona que María Julissa está viviendo en Cali, donde aparentemente tiene una relación con un streamer local, y se dedica a actividades como el modelaje y la creación de contenido digital, especialmente relacionado con deportes como el béisbol.
