The driver of a silver SUV passed out from a medical emergency

His foot stuck on the gas, vehicle accelerating out of control with window open and driver limp. 

Rene (truck owner) and wife Anddy were passing by, spotted it, and Rene swerved his truck in front to block/match speed and absorb the impact, stopping the SUV safely and preventing a bigger crash. His truck took damage. 

A nurse stopped and gave CPR until EMS arrived. The unconscious driver was stabilized and is in stable condition per detectives

Fortunately, no other injuries reported.

A small unscripted moment ended up becoming one of the funniest beats in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.

In the scene, Regé-Jean Page was meant to simply walk off until he heard “cut.” Instead, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein intentionally kept the cameras rolling without stopping the take.

With no cue to end the scene, Page had to react in real time… and his spontaneous decision to deal with the rock in his path created an awkward moment that, combined with Chris Pine’s hilarious comment, perfectly fit the film’s weird humor.

A driver whose speeds topped 125 mph while attempting to flee from a traffic stop flipped his car onto oncoming highway traffic and slid hundreds of feet, police say.

The wild ride ended with the driver and two passengers all in handcuffs, according to police, while a baby onboard survived the crash without a scratch.

Iran is not asking for ceasefire or negotiations with US, says Araghchi

The first transatlantic fiber-optic cable is being recovered from the ocean floor. 

TAT-8, which went live in 1988, was revolutionary for its time. It was the first to carry data between Europe and the United States using light instead of electrical signals. 

Engineers believed it might be the last cable the world would ever need. It filled to capacity within 18 months. 

Retired in 2002 after developing an unrepairable fault, it has sat on the seabed for over two decades. A small crew is now hauling it up for recycling. 

The operation coincides with Meta's announcement of Project Waterworth, a 50,000 kilometer cable built partly to support AI infrastructure.
