Apple Announcement Week Day 2 delivered major hardware updates including two new Studio Displays, the debut of M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, brand new MacBook Pro models powered by those chips, and a surprise M5 MacBook Air.

The refreshed Studio Display lineup includes a 27-inch 5K Retina display with 600 nits of brightness, P3 wide color, Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, 96W charging, a 12MP Center Stage camera with Desk View, and an upgraded six-speaker system. The new Studio Display XDR adds 2000 nits of peak HDR brightness and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate for ultra-smooth performance.

Apple also unveiled M5 Pro and M5 Max, delivering up to 30 percent faster CPU performance for pro workflows, an up to 40-core GPU, over 4x peak GPU compute for AI tasks compared to the previous generation, and up to 35 percent faster ray tracing performance versus M4 Pro and M4 Max.

The new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models feature these new chips, up to 24 hours of battery life, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 via Apple’s N1 chip, advanced thermals, and the XDR display.

Apple also introduced the new MacBook Air with M5, now starting with 512GB of storage, up to 4TB configurable, Wi-Fi 7, 18 hours of battery life, and available in 13-inch and 15-inch models.

Dramatic video appears to show a US F-15 fighter jet pilot being threatened by a Kuwaiti local wielding a metal pipe.

“Back up, stop,” the pilot was heard yelling as the man holding the pipe tried to yank him forward using his parachute chord.

The pipe-wielding local looks as he’s about to strike before the pilot gets on his knees and raises his arms, according to the video shared on X. Three F-15E Strike Eagle jets, which cost around $31.1 million each, were downed by Kuwaiti friendly fire. All six crew members safely ejected from the planes and are stable. Kuwait’s defense ministry has confirmed it’s coordinating with the US regarding the “circumstances of the incident.”

19 Jaw-Dropping Moments in Clinton’s Explosive Epstein Testimony

The House Oversight Committee released the full depositions of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton centered on the committee’s investigation into the Epstein files on Monday.

This video provided by the GOP Oversight Committee focuses on the top moments from Bill Clinton's testimony to lawmakers.

The release of their testimonies come after the pair separately testified before the committee in closed-door meetings last week. The footage shared showed that the couple faced more than four hours of questioning each.

“The American people have a lot of questions. To my knowledge, the Clintons haven't answered very many, if any, questions about their knowledge or involvement with Epstein and Maxwell,” Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Thursday before the deposition started.

“No one’s accusing, at this moment, the Clintons of any wrongdoing. They’re going to have due process."

Jeffrey Epstein was found guilty of sex trafficking minors in 2019 and died in prison that same year.

U.S. and Israel expand war with Iran with joint air, sea, and land operations as Tehran hits back

President Trump said Monday the strikes in Iran are aimed at destroying Iran's missile capabilities and its navy, making sure it cannot obtain a nuclear weapon and preventing it from arming and funding terrorism across the globe.

He offered no new details about the length or scope of the strikes that began over the weekend and that have so far resulted in the deaths of four American soldiers. 

"We're already substantially ahead of our time projections. But whatever the time is, it's OK," he said. "Whatever it takes, we will always and we have from right, from the beginning, we projected four to five weeks, but we have capability to go far longer than that."
