I Can’t Sell You Laptops Anymore

My goal was always to fight the "disposable tech" trend by flooding the market with reliable, repairable used business-class laptops. But because of the devastating surge in RAM and storage prices driven by AI demand, that mission has become impossible. I’ve been losing thousands of dollars trying to keep these machines affordable and I just can't do it anymore. Most of my suppliers (other than Trident Electronics) are now stripping RAM and NVMe drives to sell them separately because they're worth more than the laptops themselves. I can't blame them, it's what any business would do. It just sucks for the little fish and the consumers who would've taken advantage of these devices that are now going to be scrapped for parts.
