Donald Trump has announced that Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed. 

The US President stated on his Truth Social platform: "This is not only Justice for the people of Iran, but for all Great Americans, and those people from many Countries throughout the World.”

"He was unable to avoid our Intelligence and Highly Sophisticated Tracking Systems and, working closely with Israel, there was not a thing he, or the other leaders that have been killed along with him, could do… This is the single greatest chance for the Iranian people to take back their Country.”

Satellite images show the compound of Iran’s Supreme Leader in ruins, following the launch of attacks by the US and Israel across the country.  Israel said it had killed seven other senior Iranian leaders in the strikes. 

In response, Iran launched attacks throughout the Middle East.  Strikes have been reported in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, and Kuwait - all places with US military bases, or that are allied to the US.

BREAKING: Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei confirmed killed in airstrikes | BBC News

TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani report on the Israel-Iran regional war.

Iran: In the opening hours of Operation “The Lion’s Roar,” Israel and the United States launched a coordinated preemptive strike across Iran. A senior Israeli official confirmed that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was eliminated and that his body was located. Iranian officials deny the claim, calling it psychological warfare, but Israeli sources say multiple senior regime figures were struck in a coordinated deception operation.

IRGC Leadership: According to Israeli assessments, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards, Mohammad Pakpour, along with other top military and political officials, were eliminated in simultaneous strikes on three power centers in Tehran. More than 200 Israeli Air Force fighter jets reportedly struck approximately 500 targets, including missile arrays and advanced air-defense systems such as an S-300 variant.

U.S.–Israel Coordination: President Trump confirmed the joint operation and declared that Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon. Tens of thousands of Israeli reservists were mobilized, and a nationwide emergency was declared. Reports indicate that the opening blow was enabled by months of intelligence coordination and a strategic deception plan that caught Tehran off guard.

Regional Fallout: Iran launched retaliatory strikes across the Gulf, with reports of impacts in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Bahrain, and drone activity in Dubai. Meanwhile, Hezbollah prepares for potential escalation from Syria, Iraqi militias face internal pressure, and the Houthis signal hesitation. The broader Shiite axis appears strained as the operation is expected to continue for several days.

The U.S. and Israel have launched an unprovoked attack on Iran striking sites across the country, including the compound of Iran's Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Both Israel and the U.S. say Khamenei was killed. Iranian state media also reports one Israeli strike hit an elementary girls’ school in Minab, killing at least 85 people including scores of children. Iran has responded by launching attacks across the Middle East targeting Israel and U.S. military installations in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan.
