Ohtani Got Pranked Before His At-Bat 😂⚾

Karmelo Anthony, 19, is currently on trial in the death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. The teens were attending a regional track meet in Frisco, Texas, when Metcalf reportedly told Anthony to leave their team's tent. Prosecutors allege the confrontation escalated, leading Anthony to stab Metcalf in the chest with a knife before later turning himself in to authorities. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder and is being tried as an adult. He has pleaded not guilty and claims he acted in self-defense. If convicted, he faces five to 99 years in prison.

No cameras or audio recordings are allowed in the trial. Court TV's team will be live from the courthouse in Texas with details from inside the courtroom.

A former Air Canada pilot flew more than 900 flights without the proper licence, police in Ontario allege.

Police have charged Geoffrey Wall, 59, of Barrie, Ont., with seven criminal counts related to flying passenger jets with a forged captain’s licence.

Peel Regional Police claim that for 17 years, Mr. Wall flew tens of thousands of passengers as a pilot in charge, a position for which he was not licensed by Transport Canada.

Although he was a licensed commercial pilot and qualified to hold the position of an Air Canada first officer, he did not have an Airline Transport Pilot Licence and was not allowed to be in charge of a passenger plane, police said.

Peel Sergeant Rob Boyer likened it to a family doctor performing brain surgery in his office.

Allegedly using forged documents, Mr. Wall commanded Air Canada’s biggest Boeing jets – the 767, 777 and 787 – earning a total of $2.9-million to do so, Peel Police Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich told reporters.

Mr. Wall retired last year after 27 years at Air Canada, before the police investigation began. The probe began four months ago, after a Transport Canada check in 2025 discovered Mr. Wall’s permits were not in order, police said at a news conference on Tuesday. #aircanada  #aviation  #canada

What Happened To Tree-T-Pee After Shark Tank.
Johnny Georges walked into Shark Tank asking for a $150,000 investment for 20% equity in his company, Tree T-Pee. His product is a simple cone made from recycled plastic that helps farmers save water, reduce farming costs, and protect young trees from frost.
The Tree T-Pee is placed around the base of a young tree. It traps water and fertilizer so they stay near the roots instead of spreading away into the soil. Johnny explained that without it, only about 10% of water actually reaches the tree. With Tree T-Pee, almost all the water is used by the plant.
He shared a powerful fact: a normal tree uses about 25,000 gallons of water every year. With his system, farmers only need around 800 gallons. That leads to major savings in water, electricity, fuel, and fertilizer costs. Johnny said his goal was not just profit, but helping farmers lower costs and grow healthier crops.
Each Tree T-Pee costs about $2.95 to make, and he sells it for around $4.50. He kept the sale price low so farmers could afford it, even though it meant very small profit margins.
The Sharks liked the idea, but some worried the business would struggle to grow with such low pricing. Then guest Shark John Paul DeJoria stepped in. He admired Johnny’s honesty and mission and offered the full $150,000 investment for 20% equity.
After Shark Tank, Tree T-Pee grew into a global business, generating millions in yearly sales while still keeping prices affordable for farmers. The company is now estimated to have a net worth of around $100 million, proving that a simple idea with a strong purpose can become a huge success.

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) questioned Southern Poverty Law Center interim CEO Bryan Fair during a House Judiciary Committee hearing, focusing on tattoos linked to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner. Gill argued that Hegseth’s Jerusalem Cross and “Deus Vult” tattoos have been unfairly labelled extremist by critics, while Platner previously had a Totenkopf skull tattoo, a symbol associated with Nazi SS units, which he later covered up.
