US representative accuses Pam Bondi of lying under oath when asked about Trump and Epstein

Fact-checking the latest Epstein files news and theories.

Attorney General Pam Bondi took heated questions from lawmakers in a combative congressional hearing over the Justice Department’s handling of files related to Jeffrey Epstein that have exposed sensitive private information about victims despite redaction efforts.

Bondi tried to turn the page from persistent criticism of the Justice Department by aggressively pivoting across the five-hour hearing.

The attorney general gave a wide-ranging, passionate defense of President Donald Trump, mocked her Democratic questioners and refused to directly respond to accusations from representatives that she is perpetuating a cover-up and ignoring victims, several of whom were sitting behind her in the hearing room.

Bondi also defended the department’s handling of the files, even as its political saga continues to dog her term. The attorney general had a similarly tumultuous hearing before Congress in October.

Pam Bondi’s meeting right now with Congress about the Epstein Files and it’s going completely off the rails. She's getting into arguments, like saying a Congresswoman who lost family in the Holocaust is antisemitic. Stuff like that isn’t the exception, it’s the rule.
Bondi also can’t answer a question directly.

When asked why alleged Epstein clients and co-conspirators weren’t getting indicted she went on a rant about the stock market. That wasn’t a one-time response either. Her go-to was to call this a targeted attack on Trump to ignore his “wins.” She also reflected when asked why HER DoJ didn’t follow the letter of the law to release files.

The reason? “What about Merrick Garland?” Thomas Massie responded that yeah, past administrations did bear some responsibility for botching the Epstein investigation. But she’s the one in charge right now and the only one responsible for following the law to release files. Her response was to call him a hypocrite because he voted against a deepfake porn bill.

Which… wasn’t related to or even answered his question AT ALL. Another key strategy was to ask “what about…?” rather than actually give an answer. Like when she was asked about Ghislaine Maxwell and said this, “You know, instead of talking about Gerlain Maxwell, who hopefully will die in prison, hopefully will die in prison, you should be talking about Iryna Zarutska. Who died on a subway."

It’s almost like Bondi didn’t get the memo that she’s there for a specific reason: TO TESTIFY ABOUT THE EPSTEIN FILES. So if you were hoping for something productive to come out of this I wouldn’t hold my breath because it’s been complete chaos.

Through several name changes, adoption across Silicon Valley to Beijing, and mounting controversy, the open-source AI agent now known as “OpenClaw” has emerged as one of the most talked-about tools in the artificial intelligence space this year.

Previously called Clawdbot and Moltbot, the AI agent was launched just weeks ago by Austrian software developer Peter Steinberger.

Early adopters of OpenClaw have expressed a mix of enthusiasm and unease about its abilities.

For example, some AI experts have argued that the agent is overhyped, citing its complex installation, high computational demands, and competition from other available AI agents.

Many proponents, on the other hand, report saving hours weekly on routine tasks, dubbing it “AI with hands” and a major leap forward toward artificial general intelligence — a theoretical AI capable of performing intellectual tasks at or above the human level.

This is how early 1980s PC storage actually worked — thin plastic coated in iron oxide, spinning at 300 RPM inside a full-height drive.

Vintage computing was beautifully mechanical.
