Troopers Discover Teenagers Smuggled In Car Trunk 🚨🚗

CONTEXT/SUMMARY:
On Jul. 2, 2023, a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper working alongside a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped an Infiniti G35 traveling on US-90 in Brackettville, Kinney County, TX. Temperatures in the area at the time were well over 100 degrees.

During the roadside interview, troopers discovered that the driver, identified as Edwin Giovanni Barrientos Linares, was an undocumented immigrant from Mexico who was actively smuggling three other migrants. Linares had an expired California driver's license in his possession.

Two of the three migrants were juveniles, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, who were found concealed inside the trunk of the vehicle in the extreme heat. When asked if he had anything illegal in the car, Linares had denied having any dr*gs, weapons, or contraband of any kind.

Linares was charged with three counts of human smuggling. All three undocumented migrants found in the vehicle were taken into custody by US Border Patrol.

The stop was made under Texas Governor Greg Abbott's Operation Lone Star, a state-led border security initiative that has partnered Texas law enforcement with troopers from other states, including Florida, to combat human and dr*g smuggling along the southern border.

In Gotham 🏥🃏, inside Arkham, the Riddler sees an inmate using a paintbrush to scribble on Jeremiah’s head 🎨😒. He immediately stops him and says that Jeremiah is a “legend,” and if someone is going to mess with a “legend,” they should at least do it properly 😏🗣️. Then the Riddler snaps the paintbrush in half ✂️🖌️ and drives it into Jeremiah’s thigh 🩸😱. After that, he laughs and says that messing with Jeremiah will never stop being entertaining 😂🔪. But Jeremiah shows absolutely no reaction at all, as if he truly has become catatonic 😶‍🌫️🪑.
Back in the cell, two inmates are about to beat Jeremiah just to vent their anger 👊😡, when Ecco suddenly enters and kills both of them ⚔️💥. Afterward, Ecco tells Jeremiah that their cover has been blown 🕵️‍♀️⚠️. Jeremiah, who has spent ten years pretending to be catatonic—so convincingly that everyone believed he really was gone—hears this news and finally responds 😈⏳. He bursts out with that insane, unhinged laugh once again 🤣🃏🔥.
